1. 1.Approve the March 21, 2023, regular meeting minutes as written.

V.New Business

City Manager Department

• 1.A Resolution certifying legal authority for the City of Arkansas City to file an application to the Kansas Department of Commerce for Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under the Community Facilities category Sidewalks and Trails; and authorizing the mayor and/or city administration to execute all documents necessary to apply for and accept such grant. (Voice Vote)

• 2.Consider the first reading of an Ordinance adopting the budgeted pay plan to become effective April 8, 2023. (Roll Call Vote)

Fire/EMS Department

• 1.A Resolution authorizing the City of Arkansas City to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Medevac Mid America, Inc. (AMR/EagleMed) of Wichita, Kansas, to provide mutual aid in the event of an emergency, within each other’s range of resource capabilities including medical transportation services, as requested and available. (Voice Vote)
