1. 1.Approve November 5, 2024, regular meeting minutes as written.

2. 2.A Resolution approving the notice of budget hearing for publication and setting the date for a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on December 3, 2024, to amend the 2024 budget for the City of Arkansas City.  (Voice Vote)

3. 3.A Resolution authorizing the City of Arkansas City to allocate an additional fund contribution to the Cowley County Humane Society (CCHS), to cover financial shortfalls, for an amount not to exceed $20,000.00. (Voice Vote)

4. 4.Provide a formal Letter of Support from City Commissioners to assist Twin Rivers Developmental Supports, Inc. in applying for Kansas Department of Transportation operating funds for fiscal year 2026.  (Voice Vote)

III.New Business

City Attorney Department

• 1.An Ordinance authorizing the operation of Special Purpose Vehicles including golf carts, work-site vehicles, micro-utility trucks, and all-terrain vehicles, on the streets within the corporate limits of the City of Arkansas City, Kansas; providing for related matters, including registration and penalties for violation thereof, thus repealing Ordinance No. 2023-03-4576.  (Roll Call Vote)

   

City Manager Department

• 1.A Resolution authorizing the City of Arkansas City to enter into an agreement with the State Historic Preservation Officer to conduct Historic Reviews under K.S.A 75-2724 (E), as amended. (Voice Vote)

• 2.A Resolution authorizing a change order submitted by Sign Solutions to cover shipping expenses for the Arkansas City Entrance Welcome Signs Project, for an amount not to exceed $1,050.00.  (Voice Vote)

• 3.A Resolution approving the City of Arkansas City Financing of Public Improvements Policy. (Voice Vote)

• 4.A Resolution approving the City of Arkansas City Reinvestment Housing Incentive District (RHID) Policy. (Voice Vote)
