Call to Order and Welcome to Visitors

1.Reading of the Town Proclamation designating the week of February 21-28, 2026 as National Future Farmers of America week.

2.Public hearing regarding the advertised rezoning of a parcel within the Town limits of Appomattox consisting of approximately 2.6 acres from B-2 to R-3 to allow for the construction of multi-family housing. The property is listed under the following Tax Map Identification numbers:

3.Discussion, consideration, and/or appointment of Dr. Zamora Crawford Olin and Kiva Preston to the Town of Appomattox's Economic Development Authority.
4.Discussion and/or approval of FY2026 Write-off Requests submitted by Council Action Form from Treasurer.
5.Presentation and discussion of proposed FY26 requested Budget Amendments.
6.Discussion and approval of $2,500 to be earmarked for the Council for A Day Committee to utilize within its scope of provision for the program's prizes, photography, treats, etc.
7.Review and approval of execution of the final Agreement for Professional Services with CHA for the Master Utilities Plan.
8.Discussion, approval, and signatures of Town Council of the Town of Appomattox Code of Ethics and Conduct Policy, and the Town of Appomattox Ethics Pledges.

9.Discussion and adoption of the submitted Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget Timeline.
10.Discussion and approval of the 2026 Town Council Meeting Schedule.

12.Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711(A)(3) for the discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property for a public purpose, or of the disposition of publicly held real property, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body.
