CONSENT AGENDA
All Consent Agenda items are considered routine, to be enacted by one motion with the adoption of the Consent Agenda,
and without discussion. If a Council Member requests discussion of an item, the item may be removed from the
Consent Agenda and considered separately. The Mayor will present the Consent Agenda
to be set prior to taking action on the following items:
Motion to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 17 transferring budgeted Debt Service payments from the operating fund to respective Debt Service Funds, Affordable Housing Fund and allocating additional funding to Police Donations and Electric Utility Funds.
Motion to approve Apex Tax Reports dated April 13, 2024; and
Motion to approve Apex Tax Reports dated May 5, 2024.
Motion to approve revisions to the Town Standard Specifications and Standard Details.
PRESENTATIONS
Proclamation designating the week of June 17th through June 23rd, 2024 as "Apex Pollinator Week" in the Town of Apex, and encourage all residents to do their part in taking care of our environment and protecting these species we rely upon for much of our green space.
Proclamation recognizing the Apex Public Works Department for the critical role they have in connecting residents to services necessary for functioning and thriving in a healthy community, and designating June 9 through June 15, 2024 as "Public Works Week" in the Town of Apex.
Special recognition honoring six (6) students from Apex Friendship High School who won the WRAL Brain Game Championship on Saturday, June 1, 2024 against Broughton High School.
REGULAR MEETING AGENDA
Mayor Gilbert will call for additional Agenda items from Council or Staff and set the
Regular Meeting Agenda prior to Council actions.
PUBLIC FORUM
Public Forum allows the public an opportunity to address the Town Council. The speaker is requested not to address items
that appear as Public Hearings scheduled on the Regular Agenda. The Mayor will recognize those who would like to speak at the
appropriate time. Large groups are asked to select a representative to speak for the entire group.
Comments must be limited to 3 minutes to allow others the opportunity to speak.
