CONSENT AGENDA
All Consent Agenda items are considered routine, to be enacted by one motion with the adoption of the Consent Agenda,
and without discussion. If a Council Member requests discussion of an item, the item may be removed from the
Consent Agenda and considered separately. The Mayor will present the Consent Agenda
to be set prior to taking action on the following items:
Motion to approve a multi-year standard services agreement between Cape Fear Water Solutions, Inc., and the Town of Apex, for chemical management and maintenance at Middle Creek Water Reclamation Facility and various other pump stations, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, and to authorize the Town Manager, or their designee, to execute on behalf of the Town
Possible motion to adopt a Resolution in Support of Senate Bill 587, An To Clarify Nonconformities in Land Developed, and direct the Town Clerk to provide a certified copy of this resolution to all elected representatives representing the Town of Apex in the North Carolina General Assembly, and All Wake County Municipal Mayors, Town Councilmembers, and Town Clerks and request their support of this legislation.
Motion to adopt a resolution authorizing Chatham County Tax Administrator to collect taxes on behalf of the Town of Apex.

PRESENTATIONS
Proclamation recognizing the Month of June 2025, as "National Homeownership Month" in the Town of Apex, and encourage all residents to join me in recognizing the importance of striving for every resident to be able to own a home.
Proclamation recognizing Thursday, June 19, 2025 as "Juneteenth" in the Town of Apex and encourage all residents to join in the celebration of freedom that Juneteenth represents, and continue our efforts to help make Apex a community that is a welcoming place where all have the opportunity to thrive.
Proclamation recognizing the Month of June 2025 as "LGBTQIA+ Pride Month" in the Town of Apex. As your Mayor, I remain committed to equal human rights for all residents and encourage everyone to have a sense of pride in being their authentic self, regardless of gender expression, and show love and respect to everyone! .
REGULAR MEETING AGENDA
Mayor Gilbert will call for additional Agenda items from Council or Staff and set the
Regular Meeting Agenda prior to Council actions.
PUBLIC FORUM
Public Forum allows the public an opportunity to address the Town Council. The speaker is requested not to address items
that appear as Public Hearings scheduled on the Regular Agenda. The Mayor will recognize those who would like to speak at the
appropriate time. Large groups are asked to select a representative to speak for the entire group.
Comments must be limited to 3 minutes to allow others the opportunity to speak.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Conduct a Public Hearing and possible motion to adopt Ordinance on the Question of Annexation - Apex Town Council's intent to annex 63.50 acres, commonly referred to as Grace Christian School, located on Veridea Parkway, Annexation No. 794, into the Town’s Corporate limits.
Public hearing and possible motion to amend the Apex Transportation Plan along Veridea Parkway.
Public hearing and possible motion concerning Rezoning Application No. 24CZ11 Altera Heights PUD. The applicant, Wood Partners, seeks to rezone approximately 13.55 acres from Rural Residential (RR) to Planned Unit Development-Conditional Zoning (PUD-CZ). The proposed rezoning is located at 8108 Jenks Road and 1440 & 1508 Wimberly Road.
The applicant has requested that this item be continued to the June 24, 2025 Town Council meeting.
This transportation plan amendment is associated with Rezoning Application No. 24CZ16 Lawrence Property PUD. The applicants of the rezoning have requested a continuation to the June 24, 2025 Town Council meeting. Therefore, staff also request a continuation of this associated amendment to the Apex Transportation Plan to the June 24, 2025 Town Council meeting.
The applicant has requested that this item be continued to the June 24, 2025 Town Council meeting.
Public hearing and possible motion concerning Rezoning Application No. 24CZ16 Lawrence Property PUD and Ordinance. The applicants, Mark Bowles, Baker Residential and Jason Barron, Morningstar Law Group, seek to rezone approximately 41.02 acres from Wake County Residential-80W (R-80W) to Planned Unit Development-Conditional Zoning (PUD-CZ). The proposed rezoning is located at 3228 Olive Chapel Road.
Conduct a Public Hearing and possible motion to adopt Ordinance on the Question of Annexation - Apex Town Council's intent to annex 40.72 acres, commonly referred to as New Hill Commons PUD, Annexation No. 793, into the Town’s Corporate limits.
Conduct a Public Hearing and possible motion to adopt Ordinance on the Question of Annexation - Apex Town Council's intent to annex 23.979 acres, commonly referred to as Courtyards on Wimberly, located on Wimberly Road in Apex, North Carolina, Annexation No. 795, into the Town’s Corporate limits.
Public hearing and possible motion concerning Rezoning Application No. 24CZ22 Courtyards on Wimberly PUD and Ordinance. The applicants, Michael Kemp, Epcon Communities and Jason Barron, Morningstar Law Group, seek to rezone approximately 23.98 acres from Wake County Residential-80W (R-80W) and Rural Residential (RR) to Planned Unit Development-Conditional Zoning (PUD-CZ). The proposed rezoning is located at 641, 709, and 717 Wimberly Road.
Public hearing and possible motion concerning Rezoning Case No. 25CZ03 309 N Salem Street. The applicant, Barry Simmons, seeks to rezone approximately 0.233 acres from Mixed Office-Residential-Retail-Conditional Zoning (MORR-CZ #08CZ10) to Mixed Office-Residential-Retail-Conditional Zoning (MORR-CZ) at 309 N Salem Street.
